Warticon is applied in treatment cycles of seven days each. A cycle consists of twice-daily applications 12 hours apart for three consecutive days, followed by four days of no treatment. You can repeat the cycles as needed for up to five cycles. You should not apply Warticon to healthy, unaffected skin, only to areas with genital warts.
While undergoing treatment, it is often best to avoid sexual activity. This is because genital warts and HPV are highly infectious. If you do engage in sexual activity, you should use a condom to reduce the chances of passing on the virus.
Warticon treatment comes in the form of a cream and a solution. The method of application changes depending on which type you use. Always thoroughly wash the affected area with soap and water before using either type of Warticon, and dry thoroughly.
