This Benylin syrup is a treatment that helps to relieve the symptoms of a mucus cough, especially at night. It contains three active ingredients: diphenhydramine, which is an antihistamine that helps to reduce coughing and improves sleep; guaifenesin, which is an expectorant that helps to loosen mucus and phlegm from the lungs so that coughing is easier; and menthol, which helps to relieve congestion in the nose and facilitate breathing.
