How do I switch from Mounjaro to Wegovy?

What dose of Wegovy do I switch to?
When you use our dedicated Mounjaro to Wegovy Switch Service, we will recommend the most appropriate Wegovy dose for you based on your current Mounjaro treatment.
For your information, our general switching guidelines are as follows:
● If you are currently taking 2.5mg, 5 mg or 7.5mg of Mounjaro, the usual starting dose is 0.5mg of Wegovy once weekly.
● If you are taking 10 mg of Mounjaro or above, the usual starting dose is 1 mg of Wegovy once weekly.
Patients who wish to take a more cautious approach can start at 0.25 mg of Wegovy regardless of their current Mounjaro dose.
Is there a maintenance plan for Wegovy?
Yes. Wegovy is gradually increased to a maintenance dose of 2.4 mg once weekly, which is the licensed long-term dose in the UK.
