It is also designed to relieve congestion in the nose that leads to a runny nose and sneezing. The active ingredients in this medicine are diphenhydramine and levomenthol. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine that helps to relieve a cough and also clears dry secretions in the nose and chest. Levomenthol acts as a decongestent that helps to unblock the nose and make breathing easier.
