Acnecide gel contains 5% w/w of the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide, which helps to combat acne by killing the bacteria that can cause Propionibacterium acne, one of the most common causes of acne. This helps to prevent the blackheads and whiteheads that appear when you have acne by removing the source.
