In addition to relieving nasal congestion brought on by a cold or the flu, this Sudafed Decongestant Liquid also works to relieve catarrh, which is a build-up of mucus in the nose, chest, or throat. The active ingredient in this liquid is pseudoephedrine, a decongestant that acts by thinning blood vessels that have swollen due to an infection.
