Enterosgel, also referred to as an intestinal absorbent or enterosorbent, is a medication used to treat diarrhoea and alleviate symptoms of dyspepsia. It functions by binding pathogens, viruses, toxins, allergens, and other harmful substances in the gastrointestinal tract and then eliminating them from the body; it does not eliminate water or vitamins and is fully eliminated from the body in 12 to 24 hours.
