Use these Difflam lozenges to treat mouth and throat irritation and inflammation. The active ingredient in the lozenges, benzydamine hydrochloride, operates by reducing the effects of a sore throat. Benzydamine belongs to a class of medications called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs, which works to reduce pain and inflammation in the throat.
