Weight Maintenance
What is Weight Maintenance?
Maintaining your weight loss results, with evidence-based medication through clinically robust ongoing guidance, regardless of how that looks for each individual.
Cloud has helped over 350,000 patients reach their weight loss goals, and we've realised that something needs to be done to ensure that those targets are kept for good.

1:1 Clinical Support
Book maintenance consultations to discuss your dose, diet, exercise and lifestyle with our expert clinicians. Care that’s tailored to your individual needs.

Flexible Pathways
Patient journeys are not linear. We guide you to taper off medication, stay on your dose, or build tools for independence — whichever suits your needs.

Nutritional & Lifestyle Support
We address dietary habits, external factors, and lifestyle changes that may contribute to weight change — helping you build sustainable, lasting habits.
Long-term sustainability,
not short-term fixes
Weight maintenance isn't passive — it's an active, clinical process that evolves with you. We measure success by what lasts.
We do things differently
Many GLP-1 providers prescribe medication and move on. Cloud is built around a clinical partnership that stays with you.
Prescribed & Supported
Prescribed and supported by your dedicated clinicians — not just at the start, but throughout your entire maintenance journey.

Every dose decision is based on your body's unique response. Our clinicians adapt in real time — no fixed escalation ladder.
Always-On Support
Your clinical team is accessible 7 days a week — including weekends when you need them most. No ticket queues, no waiting.
Long-Term Results
We measure success by what lasts — not initial weight lost. Your plan is designed for sustained maintenance, not quick wins.
Clinical Structure
Not just a subscription. A structured clinical programme with regular reviews, nutritional guidance, and adaptive dosing built in.
Switching to Cloud
Everything you need to make the switch. Three simple requirements and you're on your way to better clinical support.
Even if your BMI is currently below 30 (and above 21), you may still be eligible for maintenance support.

Weight maintenance treatment is the stage of your weight loss journey where the focus shifts from losing weight to keeping your results stable.
After reaching your target weight, some patients continue treatment at the same dose, a lower dose, or adjusted dose to help control appetite and support long term weight stability. Others gradually stop medication once they feel confident maintaining their results through lifestyle habits.
At Cloud Pharmacy, maintenance plans are tailored to the individual. Our clinicians review your progress and help you decide whether continuing treatment, reducing your dose, or stopping medication is the best option for your long term health.
There is no fixed timeline for weight maintenance treatment. Some patients remain on the same dose, or on a lower maintenance dose for an extended period to help stabilise their weight, while others gradually stop medication once they feel confident maintaining their results.
Your clinician will review your progress regularly and discuss the most appropriate plan based on your weight trend, health goals, and how your body responds to treatment.
The aim of maintenance therapy is long term success, helping you keep the progress you have achieved in a safe and sustainable way.
At Cloud Pharmacy, we understand the needs of our patients can change during their maintenance journey.
During maintenance treatment our clinical team continues to review your progress and overall health. If your weight, goals, or response to medication changes, we can reassess your plan together.
This may involve adjusting your dose, reviewing lifestyle strategies, or discussing alternative options that better support your needs.
Our goal is to provide ongoing clinical support so that your treatment remains safe, effective, and aligned with your long term wellbeing.
Each patient’s suitability for maintenance treatment is considered on a case-by-case basis. Our clinicians consider factors such as your BMI, weight trend, medical history, and how you have responded to treatment.
If your BMI approaches the lower end of the healthy range, typically around 22 or below, and weight loss is still continuing, our team may review whether the current dose remains appropriate.
In these situations we may recommend adjusting your treatment plan or discussing other strategies to support safe weight maintenance.
Your long term health and wellbeing always guide our clinical decisions.
Yes. The decision to continue or stop treatment always remains yours.
If you are considering stopping your weight loss injections, our clinical team can guide you through the safest approach and explain what to expect. Some patients prefer to gradually reduce their dose rather than stopping suddenly.
We are here to ensure you have the information and support you need to make the decision that feels right for you and your long term health goals.
If you decide to stop GLP 1 medication, it is usually best to do so gradually with guidance from our clinicians.
After stopping treatment some patients notice an increase in appetite or food thoughts as the medication leaves the body. Maintaining the healthy habits developed during treatment, such as balanced eating, regular physical activity, and staying hydrated, can help manage these changes.
If you need support during this transition, our clinical team is always available to provide guidance and help you maintain the progress you have achieved.
Some patients experience increased appetite after stopping GLP-1 medication, which can lead to gradual weight regain if lifestyle habits change.
However many people are able to maintain their results by continuing the healthy routines developed during treatment, including balanced nutrition, regular exercise, and good sleep habits.
For some patients a lower maintenance dose may help provide additional support.
If you are thinking about stopping treatment, our clinicians can help create a plan that supports long term weight stability.
It is possible for appetite to increase after stopping GLP 1 medications, which may lead to gradual weight regain for some patients. This happens because the medication is no longer helping regulate hunger and fullness signals.
If you notice your weight beginning to rise again, it may help to review your eating patterns, activity levels, and other lifestyle habits that supported your weight loss.
If weight gain continues, our clinical team can review your situation and discuss options with you. This may include additional lifestyle support or, in some cases, restarting treatment at an appropriate dose to help stabilise your weight.
If you restart treatment after a break, your clinician will review your situation before prescribing again.
Depending on how long you have been off the medication, it may be necessary to restart at a lower dose rather than returning directly to your previous one. This helps reduce the risk of side effects and allows your body to adjust safely.
Although this approach may feel slower, it ensures that treatment remains safe and effective.
Yes. You do not need to have started treatment with Cloud Pharmacy to access our maintenance plans.
If you are transferring from another provider, our clinicians may ask for some additional information about your previous treatment. This may include the medication you were using, your current dose, and the weight loss you have already achieved.
This helps us understand your treatment history and recommend the safest and most appropriate maintenance plan for you.
